As a church we are concerned for the work of different charities and each year support three. One local, one
National, one International.
Financial support will be given through a special Missions Collection for N&DYFC and the Bible Society. The
Children's Society is supported financially through the charity boxes that many of our congregation have at home and also the Christingle Service at the beginning of December.
A special notice board in church contains regularly updated information about all three of these groups giving news of projects and prayer
requests or you can visit them on the web by clicking on the links

The Children's Society - National
Nationally, The Childrens' Society provides vital help to young people who have left home for various reasons and are a real life-line. Again, prayer is a regular support.
The Bible Society - International
For our International charity, we are supporting the Bible Society. They have bases all around the world translating the Bible into many languages and distributing them wherever they can. This is not always an easy task depending on the area of the world they are operating in and again, prayer support is constantly given.
Newmarket & District Youth For Christ - Local
In the coming year we will be supporting the local Newmarket & District Youth for Christ. Their work is with Christian teenagers and young people in our area and much of this is done by visiting and talking to young people in our local schools. Our own Messengers group has links with N&DYFC with the on-going 'HOPE' project. Church members give help for 'HOPE' projects where extra pairs of hands are needed and prayer is another support.
