Sunday Morning at All Saints

Sundays

Regular morning services and format

9.00am Every Sunday - Holy Communion (BCP)

This service is taken from the Book of Common Prayer.  This is a quiet, peaceful service to start the day, lasting around half an hour and using the traditional language which people have enjoyed since the 17th Century.

10.15am Sunday Services

1st Sunday in month  - Family Worship
Adults and children enjoying worship together.

2nd Sunday in month - Holy Communion (common worship)
This service is taken from the Common Worship service book.  Straightforward and simple language in words and music, with separate teaching for our children and young people.   All who love the Lord Jesus are welcome to share the bread and wine, or come to the table for a blessing.   For those who are less mobile, we are happy to bring communion to you.   The younger members of the congregation come back into the main service in time to share in the communion.

3rd Sunday in month - Morning Worship (common worship)
Worship through song, prayer, Bible readings and teaching  (Includes separate time of teaching for children’s groups).

4th Sunday in month - Holy Communion (common worship)
Same as 2nd Sunday.

5th Sunday in month - Songs of Praise
When there is a 5th Sunday in the month we take the opportunity to add some more “traditional” favourite hymns and songs to our prayer, readings and teaching.   (Includes separate time of teaching for children’s groups)

During the 10.15am services

  • A crèche room is available for the under-5s; parents / guardians are asked to stay with them for their safety and that of others
  • Kids for Christ.  Every week except the first Sunday of the month, children aged 3-12 have a special time of teaching, song, activities and sharing
  • Messengers.  Our teenagers group, Messengers, meets during some of the main services

Worship in song
Music is an important part of our worship at All Saints and is led by our enthusiastic music group.

After the 10.15 services

  • Prayer ministry People are available to pray individually, in confidence, with anyone who would like this; just speak to the person who led the service to arrange this.
  • Refreshments Coffee, Tea and Biscuits are served in the open area at the back of the church.  Do stay for a chat so that we can get to know you better.
  • Shared lunch On the first Sunday of the month we have a “Bring and Share” Lunch to which everyone is welcome; don’t worry if you haven’t brought any food, there is always plenty to go around.
