Town Pastors

One of the local missions that All Saints Church and its members support and are actively involved with is Newmarket Town Pastors who have been operating on the streets of Newmarket since April 2009.  There are currently over 80 people involved, from 14 different Newmarket and surrounding area churches, either as Town Pastors or Prayer Team members.

Town Pastors are Christians who look out for and support vulnerable people giving assistance where appropriate.  They operate on the streets of Newmarket to provide a presence of friendliness and care.   They can regularly be seen out on busy weekend nights from 10pm until the early hours. Their aim is to be God’s disciples on the street, during the Night Time Economy, providing a positive influence - backed by prayer.

As of March 2013 the Town Pastors have helped over 1,200 people.  They have also had the opportunity to talk to over 450 people about their faith when asked who they are or why they are there.
